SolarVenti Installation in 3 steps...

The remarkable SolarVenti ventilation, dehumidification and air heating panel is particularly suitable for those properties that are prone to damp and not constantly occupied such as holiday cottages, static caravans and boats. It is also a highly effective means of maintaining clean air quality in modern homes prone to condensation and dampness.

Everything you need in the box!

Before you start

Find the best place - A south, south east or south west facing wall, with minimum shade is ideal. Be aware of shadows from trees or fences. The outside siting must correspond with the optimal place inside the house.

Additional Tools Needed:

  • Electric drill with core cutter
  • Screw driver
  • Spirit level

Step 1 - Drill or breakout a hole for the warm air intake

When you have found the best place to install your Solarventi mark the spot for the hole. Depending on the model the hole needs to be:

  • 115 - 120mm diameter for SV2, SV3
  • 135 - 140mm diameter for SV7, SV9, SV14, SV30

Step 2 - Fit the brackets and flexi tube

Fix the wall brackets, carefully measuring using the hole as a reference point, put the flexi-tube through the hole and fix it to the frame inside the house. Push the frame into the hole and fix it to the wall.

Step 3 - Finally fit the panel, regulator and inlet valve.

Rest the panel on the bottom brackets and connect the flexi-tube, secure the panel at the top by turning the bolts into the groove in the panel frame, it’s as easy as that. On the inside, the white inlet valve can be pressed into the frame. Turn clockwise to fix. Fit and connect the control unit.

The regulator control unit where fitted is used for:

  1. Switching the Ventilator fan off
  2. Setting the maximum speed of the fan
  3. Setting the thermostat to regulate the fan
  4. Starting the cooling fan (where fitted)
  5. Switching the pump off on hybrid systems
(May alternatively be used for a small extraction fan 1,8 Watt)
The air flow may also be regulated using the white inlet valve.
